Sell Car Kits and Register Racers

When you sell car kits, it is important to record a unique car number for each racer. You will use the car number as the racer identifier when you formulate race heats, make driver's licenses, add pictures to the driver's license and generate race lists and awards.

Start by establishing the car number range you will use. If you expect to have less than 100 cars in your race, then choose a range that accommodates about one hundred. If more cars are expected, adjust the range appropriately.

Generate a Racer Sign-Up Sheet to easily record each Racer's car number.
Note that the car kit price is automatically printed at the top of the page. The car-kit price is calculated from the car and award screen.
On this sheet also record the racer's age, telephone number, the number of the image from the digital camera for their driver's license picture and any entry fee paid.
After selling the car kits and recording which racers are what numbers, you are ready to enter the racer data in the Cars and Drivers screen.
